There is no way somebody actually reads this.

But if you do: Thank you for opening every last page of this website. I hope you had as much fun exploring as I had creating this. Sadly, there is not really any easter egg hidden here. I just need some space to write a few things.

First, here is a list of all the cool stuff on this website. You might even have missed some of it but it actually took some work to create.

  • Fancy loading screen animation which is only triggered the first time the page is loaded in a tab to cache a lot of the assets to have better loading times.
  • A page transition animation which is based on the website's CSS grid.
  • The three.js puzzle with environment and normal maps which can be controlled with your mouse. All materials are randomly generated. That leads to the rare possibility that you can get a puzzle with all of the same material which also triggers an easter egg. (So there is also gambling.) This was actually created pre AI with good old Stackoverflow (Rip).
  • Every element on the page is placed within a grid (There is one for mobile and one for desktop) which is based on traditional swiss design typography. So the grid gaps also correlate with the font size and line height on the website.
  • A working CSS file on the page itself. So you can change the whole page locally by typing CSS code inside the editor element. This can get out of hand pretty quickly. (Just apply some extra properties to the body selector and you will see.)
  • Custom marking colors based on the VS Code colors that change on every load of the page.
  • The animation you get when sending a message through the form.
  • Dynamic theme colors. That means your browser bars on iOS Safari change depending on the background color around it.

I want to dedicate all of this work to one of the hardest years of my life. I learned more than I ever thought I could.
And hopefully, everything gets better. Thank you to the wonderful people who stayed, were there for me and helped me along the way. This would not have been possible without you.
